The new generation armed Mercedes-Benz S-Class car is presented
The Mercedes-Benz S 680 Guard 4Matic is the best-protected car in the world. Of course, we are talking about cars that are intended for civilian use and are approved for use on public roads. The thickness of the multi-layer armored side windows has reached 100 mm - the previous S-Class Guard model had a thickness of 60 mm. The armored cabin is a combination of steel and ceramic armor (with a higher proportion of ceramics). The new S-Class weighs 4.3 tons: the car is 100 kg heavier than before, and the whole increase comes from increased armor. This mastodon has a V12 6.0 Biturbo engine with 612 hp and 830 Nm.
